Destinations from Auckland
From Auckland you can explore dozens of picturesque islands in the Hauraki Gulf, from popular holiday islands Waiheke and Kawau to wild and unpopulated outliers like Motukawao Islands. A
two-night trip could take you out to Great Barrier Island or picturesque Te Kouma Harbour on the Coromandel Peninsula.During summer, Libertas and the entire Bay of Islands marine playground are just an easy helicopter flight away from downtown Auckland. We’ll arrange helicopter transfers for you as required.
Destinations from the Bay of Islands
From December to April Libertas II is based at Opua Marina in the Bay of Islands. From here you can explore the magnificent harbours, islands and secret bays of the Bay of Islands and Northland coast.
Many famous fishing spots, including the Cavalli Islands, Whangaroa Harbour and Cape Karikari, are nearby and the renowned Three Kings is a highly recommended five-night trip.

Fishing tournaments
Libertas II is available to charter for tournaments including the New Zealand Nationals, the Whangaroa, Riviera and Houhora tournaments and various other one-base competitions.
